Pitchspire is a small editorial index. Four chapters, eleven hotels, no ambition to become a directory of everything.
The chapters were chosen because each one answers a different question. Art hotels ask what a building can hold. Capsule hotels ask how little a good night actually requires. Casino hotels ask what else fits under a hotel roof. Ice hotels ask what happens when the whole structure is temporary.
How entries are written
By hand, in prose. We describe what a property is, where it sits, and what distinguishes it from its neighbours. Facts stay general and durable — the kind that survive a change of management. Anything that would need a citation, a price list or a live feed stays off the page.
There are no star ratings here and no scores. Ranking eleven hotels against each other would tell you nothing useful, since they are not competing for the same night.
What we don't do
- We take no bookings and hold no reservations.
- We publish no guest reviews, invented or collected.
- We do not present ourselves as a local guide to any one country.
